    Kimi Raikkonen put in a dominant performance in Bahrain to raise his Ferrari to the top of the unofficial timesheet after the weather-disrupted test there resumed. Meanwhile in Jerez Fernando Alonso got within two-tenths of a second of Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren.

    Lewis Hamilton’s return to the test track saw him top the 2009 cars’ unofficial standings in Jerez on Thursday after only Sebastien Bourdais’ interim Toro Rosso was able to go faster. Meanwhile the three teams testing at Bahrain lamented a lost day.
