  • Lewis Hamilton – F1 racing prodigy who became world champion in his second year in the sport following a long apprenticeship as a McLaren-sponsored driver that took in F3 and GP2. More here…
  • Adam Khan – British-born driver of Pakistani descent who races under that country’s national flag. Solid F3 and GP2 experience, then joint driver and seatholder for A1GP’s Team Pakistan. However technical issues meant his car never raced in 2008/09. Renault F1 demonstration driver. More here…

  • Justin Wilson – the 6ft 3in former Minardi driver from Sheffield is a firm fan favourite, hence his nickname “the flying giraffe”. Following a fight to drive in F1, which led to him selling shares in his future earnings, his career’s had a renaissance in the IRL. More here…
