The Silverstone Classic is held at the eponymous circuit on the last weekend in July and features daytime entertainment and evening concerts included in the price of race tickets. Artists lined up to appear include Carlos Santana, the Pussycat Dolls (hmmm – something’s ringing a bell there), Toploader and Blue.

On the track there will be homage to 90 years of classic racing including seeing more than 600 cars take part in more than 20 race events.

Organisers say you can get up close to more than 4,000 classic club display cars, participate in a tie-in with iconic motorcycle manufactuer Harley-Davidson including stunt bikes and demo rides, watch celebrities race and enjoy flying displays and a Victorian fun fair.

More than 150 exhibitors will be offering merchandise from art and antiques to automobilia.

Tickets are available for individual days or the whole event with advance prices starting at £25. For more information, visit the Silverstone Classic website here.
