The car debuted at the Fiorano Circuit, a private test track close to Maranello which is owned by Ferrari and often used to test F1 cars.

The car was driven by Andrea Bertolini, an Italian racing driver who was, at 19, the team’s youngest ever tester and who went on to help develop the Maserati MC12. He currently races in the FIA GT Championship
According to A1GP, initial feedback was positive following the car’s first laps.
Several of the series’ senior staff attended the test and said they were delighted with the results, described as “very encouraging for a car that is running for the first time.”
The team will now undertake an intensive test programme at the Fiorano test track and at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola.
