From IndyCars’ official YouTube channel comes this brief interview with Alex Lloyd, who went fastest on day two of the Indy 500 rookie orientation.
Lloyd, a development driver with Chip Ganassi Racing, will compete for Rahal Letterman in the big race. He said he’d taken the session “nice and slow” – but he still set a speed of 223.033mph, the fastest of the day.
Pole speed for the race is likely to be nearer 230mph.
