More than 7000 fans of Jenson Button submitted entries in a competition on his website to design a helmet for him to wear at the British Grand Prix.
The Honda driver traditionally comes up with a special design for his home race, and this year chose to throw the job of designing it open to all-comers.
The winner was Aries Janssens from Denbighshire, whose prizes include meeting Button during the race weekend, a pair of grandstand tickets donated by the driver and – of course – the pleasure of seeing his design in action.
Button said: “We had a staggering 7055 entries. What I like about Aries’ design is that it’s very British and very me. By very me I mean patriotic. His design incorporates my logo and my name, and the ‘o’ in Jenson is a Union Flag button. Good work, Aries!”
