Brits on Pole

We are posting this merely so that our loyal readership can reassure itself that it is on top of the latest salient points of the Mosley saga and then get back to wondering about the far more interesting possibilities of rain and spectacular upsets in the race.

Here are the two things you need to know:

1. Mosley has sent a letter to team bosses suggesting that he is a vital bulwark against Bernie Ecclestone and his vile commercial interests that will undoubtedly ruin the sport. Bernie has not taken this very well. Full story here >>
2. Mosley is at Monaco. He has held private meetings with lots of individual team bosses and refused to answer any questions whatsoever from journalists about his future. He has also, curiously, offered to let deputies perform his official functions. Which begs certain questions about the point of his staying on, but clearly not to him. Full story here >>
