Brits on Pole

While F1 was slip-sliding around a rain-soaked Monza on Saturday, BritsOnPole was at sunny Silverstone interviewing one of the most versatile British drivers in motor sport, Darren Manning.

The Yorkshireman has been plying his trade in the US for AJ Foyt Racing in the Indy Racing League over the last couple of seasons, but he’s mixed in some prototype sports car contests too, including today’s 1000km of Silverstone.

After qualifying seventh in his class yesterday he took time out to chat to BritsOnPole about his varied career, racing in America, and why F1 really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
