A sunny summer’s day, an English country estate, the roar of engines and the smell of oil, petrol, brake discs and bacon sarnies – what else can it be but the Goodwood Festival of Speed?

The Brits on Pole team of Andy and LJH spent Friday at the automotive world’s annual celebration of all things racy, watching the hill climb and the forest rally stage, exploring the paddocks, roaming Lord March’s well-kept lawns – and interviewing F1 Fanatic’s Keith Collantine for good measure.

    Hello Andy
I enjoyed your site and noticed your liking of Minardi. We were at Goodwood all weekend and I have a good picture of my son Adam, a very good driver and heading for Ginetta Juniors in 2010, sitting in the 08 McLaren wearing his favourite Minardi cap. If you would like a copy for your site let me know and I will email it over. We took a lot of good photos over the weekend so if you want copies also let me know, it seems a shame to keep them to ourselves. I have some not so clear shots , my camara is only a pocket Olympus so not good at distance, of Adam coming down the hill in a DeTomaso, yes we blagged him a ride on the hill. Let me know if you would like to see them all.
    Cameron.
ps website should be up at the end of August, it is part of Adams funding package.
