F1: how not to run a fantasy league team
It’s taken us a while to make this admission. But in the interests of full disclosure we have to report that taking advantage of the transfer window before the Spanish Grand Prix has done little to boost our McLaren Grand Prix League team.
It is a sad fact that Brits On Pole is now languishing in 14,729th position having dropped a further 1,471 places after Barcelona.
Of course, the race in which we dropped Red Bull for Toyota was the one in which a Red Bull driver pulled things together and got his car home ahead of Jarno Trulli’s.
And now the demise of Super Aguri, a team that we foolishly backed for greatness, probably means that our season is irretrievably busted.
Tell you what. Whoever gets to go to Woking, send us a postcard.
