F1: Report says Donington planning decision delayed

We’ve just come across this from yesterday’s Evening Standard:
Donington revamp delayed by council
Work to turn Donington Park into a venue suitable to host the 2010 British Grand Prix will not start before the New Year.
Planning permission for the £100 million project was expected to be granted this month [on December 19].
But a spokesman for North West Leicestershire District Council said: “We do not believe the final application will go before the Planning Committee until our meeting on 27 January.” Read the article here…
It is a fact that the council has a planning meeting scheduled for that date. Investigations are afoot to find out more…
