Justin Wilson, currently second in the Champ Car standings with a race to go, has been named in the four-driver shortlist for the 2007 Greg Moore Legacy Award which he won last year.
The award commemorates Canadian Motorsport Hall of Famer Moore, who was killed in a crash during the final CART race of the 1999 season, and goes to the Champ Car or Atlantic Series driver “who most typifies Moore’s distinctive combination of on-track talent and dynamic personality”.
This year’s nominees are 2006 winner Wilson, Graham Rahal, Simon Pagenaud and Atlantic driver James Hinchcliffe.
You can vote for Wilson in the “fan poll” section on the front page of the official Champ Car website until November 12. At the time of writing this post, he was leading the voting with 35 per cent, ahead of Hinchcliffe on 28 per cent, Rahal on 26 per cent and Pagenaud on nine per cent.
