It’s a good thing, really, that racecar manufacturer Lola has confirmed that it is throwing its hat into the F1 ring for 2010. Because, at the rate things are going, only a handful of the existing competitors could be there to join the prospective newcomers.
If the teams and manufacturers threatening to boycott next year’s Formula One championship were to make good on that threat, how big an impact would it have on the UK’s motorsport industry?
Could it happen? Could Aguri Suzuki really put a second successful F1 entry together and get his much-missed underdog team back onto the grid? And, if he did, would he re-hire Anthony Davidson?
