IRL: Howard still out in the cold at Roth Racing

Another weekend, another IndyCar race - but still no word from Roth Racing on the fate of rookie driver Jay Howard, who will miss his fourth consecutive race this Sunday in Iowa.

The young Brit lost his Indy500 drive when John Andretti was signed for what was supposed to be just the one race - but the veteran’s time with the team has just been extended for a second time to cover the Iowa Corn Indy 250 at Iowa Speedway in Newton.

No word from the team on whether Howard is out for the rest of the season, but Andretti has just been added to the drivers’ section of the official IndyCar website.
