A1GP Silverstone test - see you there!
We’re off to Silverstone in a few minutes to see the first day of A1GP testing, where the GB team will be hoping to put down a marker for its title hopes and where the Portuguese have announced a “technical alliance” with the British team that they hope will help them through the season.
Portuguese team principal Luis Vicente said: “We consider the partnership with A1 Team Great Britain to be of the utmost importance, since they were one of the most consistent teams in terms of pace and results throughout the first two seasons.
“In fact, our alliance, which extends to the co-ownership of the team, is basically the full circle of a far older alliance between both nations.”
The Brits on Pole team will be back at our keyboards later today, hopefully with a report and photos - as well as catching up on the reaction to the weekend’s F1 and IndyCar races.
